Miami in December 2024

Whenever I take photos like this, I feel like a child coloring in the lines, the water on one side and the city lights on the other—as if the world were one big coloring page.

There are various ways to capture city horizons, but in this image, I used height to create the euphoric feeling of being over the lights and the bay.

I like the detail in this image, where you can see the black outline of a crane between the water ripples.
