Look Again
When I look at a photo my memories bubble up, like a tea kettle coming to a boil, and suddenly the photograph serves me a little cup of something I thought was gone.

One day in Hakone, I saw a raindrop roll down a leaf and disappear into the mist. It was a simple moment, but being somewhere new made me stop and notice. Photography is about those moments—looking again and seeing what might otherwise be missed.
